All of our puppies go to their new homes with a 36-month (3 year) health guarantee. We provide a replacement guarantee for any congenital or hereditary defect/condition that causes your pup to expire, requires euthanization, or that critically affects the quality or length of life of the pup, which dates from the prenatal stage only. Regency Ranch will give the puppy’s family a replacement puppy from the next litter born after the puppy/dog is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, if this tragedy should take place,
**Please be aware that Regency Ranch is NEVER responsible for any portion, or the full cost, of any vet bills.**

Dog must show no signs of abuse or maltreatment.

Replacement Under the Health Guarantee…
+ A new puppy will be the replacement.
+ There will be a refund of no monies under any circumstance.
+ Your first dog does not have to pass to enact the guarantee.
+ A diagnosis of a proven genetic defect covered by the guarantee is necessary.
+ Once the guarantee is enacted, a replacement puppy will be chosen from the next litter born.
+ Adopter will be able to choose the gender of the new puppy.
+ For any bone or joint related condition, a puppy/dog will only be replaced once. We have never had an instance in which there has been a puppy/dog who has had this issue. This does not mean it is impossible, just unlikely. (As a result, it is assumed that the ultimate cause of the condition are factors over which Regency Ranch has no control.)
There will be only one replacement for cancer. In all of our years of breeding, we have not needed to enact the health guarantee for this reason. Respectively, if two pups/dogs have this issue in one family, an environmental cause will be assumed .
If you need to enact the health guarantee…
Requirements to enact guarantee…
1. Notify Regency Ranch of dog’s health issue within five days of determination.
2. Allow Regency Ranch to have their personal vet confirm diagnosis if necessary.
3. If puppy passes unexpectedly without diagnosis, a necropsy may be required.
4. Relinquishment of previously purchased dog is at the sole discretion of Regency Ranch. (There would have to be extenuating circumstances for us to make this a requirement.) **If adopter refuses to return dog or the registration papers, the replacement policy is null and void.**
In the 26 years we have been breeding dogs, we have only had one person who has ever needed to use the health guarantee. We do our utmost to make sure that we are taking the necessary precautions to produce the healthiest puppies that we can.
